MARILYN LATTA ANDERSON lives in Anchorage, Alaska, and has developed the Gateway School and Learning Center for children with dyslexia. The curriculum employs the Slingerland Method. Marilyn has four children and four grandchildren. Her husband is a pilot.

ALFRED CORDUAN lives in Los Angeles, California, where he is a webmaster, Unix systems administrator and programmer at TRW Space and Defense. He and his wife, Cynthia, homeschool their children.
